In addition to all the wonderful cameos, I’m also a big fan of the panel 7 birds.
I feel like I should recognize the avian humanoid in panel 6, or maybe just want their backstory in detail
They’re not any particular character, but that character is vaguely inspired by Rito’s designs in Breath of the Wild.
I feel like the fact that there’s so many missing posters is a hint. Maybe that Derek guy is kidnapping people and transforming them into beasts?
Notice that there are also “beast sighting” posters. I’d say your theory is sounder than you thought.
