I had this page scheduled weeks ahead of time, and I had some different witty remark here. I’m editing this on Wednesday while there’s a storm on the US Capital building.
I’m frustrated with the huge difference in the way the law enforcement has treated the people on the steps of the Capital building compared to the protesters of Minneapolis. I don’t know how to sum up these feelings, but they’re complicated and angry. It’s frustrating that Minneapolis saw massive amounts of violence at the hands of the police.

I’d like to see an animation of this scene just so I could watch Toivo’s orange hair tuft switch back and forth with the perspective.
You tell ’em, Rosemary!
I hear you, Kay. I thought I loved my city, but I’m not so sure. Anyway, I come to your art to find a little joy in the world, and I thank you for that!
I just wish we hadn’t established the precedent that it’s okay for outgoing presidents to incite coups to attempt to overturn the results of the election.
Sure, I predicted long in advance that he was going to try to make his presidency a lifetime position, but I’m not happy to have been right and I’m even less happy that it still didn’t get the Republican party to disown him. It’s alarming that I still don’t feel like we’re at the breaking point where people are in general motivated to change things.
