With all the misadventures, it can be difficult to remember that sometimes Tovio actually knows what he’s about. >_>
My pregocnition/story sense is tingling:
Teleport back just in time to see a monster attack the village, but too far away to arrive there in time.
“You can see the whole village from here” and it will be on fire.
Tovio is a good wizard and teacher apparently, but can’t hold interpersonal relationships very well. This is why we love this goof.
And hey ya don’t get “One Man Adventuring Company” by being incompetent.
Am I the only one who feels extra concerned upon seeing Toivo do all this preparation? I’m lowkey dreading seeing all of this go wrong at the worst possible moment. Kinda like when Mr. “my father invested in reusable toilet paper” messed up everything, but on a much bigger scale since a whole village is involved……!

Looking forward to when some squirrel or beaft messes with the prep spell. FR tho I love the idea of preparing a specific spot for teleportation like that, very fun spell usage
